Your role

As an IT Technician, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including the installation, configuration and support of customer equipment, such as printers, multifunction printers (MFPs), wide-format printers and scanners. You'll bring your expertise directly into the field, resolving problems efficiently and guaranteeing exceptional service to our customers. Your solid IT knowledge and field service experience will make you a valuable asset to our team.

 

Your responsibilities
  • Perform printer installation, configuration and training of Xerox equipment at customer sites (scanning, cloud solutions).
  • Configuration and training using control software (TeamViewer and/or zoom).
  • Troubleshoot problems related to customer installations.
  • Communicate appropriately and effectively with customers by telephone and in person.
  • Install software at customer sites (Xerox Device Agent, printer driver, cloud and digital transformation solutions).
  • Support users in various situations, in most cases remotely.
  • Troubleshoot incidents related to core applications (internal).
  • ERP and CRM configuration and management.
  • Support users with cell phones.

 

Training and skills
  • College diploma in computer science or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 to 3 years' proven experience in a similar role, with good experience in installing printers and multifunction printers (MFPs).
  • Experience with document management systems.
  • Hardware and software troubleshooting skills for laptops, desktops and printers.
  • Bilingualism required.
  • Dynamic and passionate about customer service.
  • Excellent communication skills and customer orientation.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Terms and conditions of employment
  • Compensation from $55,000 to $70,000 (depending on experience), including a car allowance expense account and benefits.

Schedule
  • 5 days a week on the road in contact with customers.
  • Working hours Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm.
